Welcome to Applied Informatics Course

The consecutive bachelor’s/master’s “Applied Informatics – Systems Engineering” programme takes a system-orientated and practical perspective in teaching the numerous and complex requirements of network and software-supported services. Successful students of the 3-year bachelor’s course are awarded the title “Bachelor of Science” before (usually) moving on to the 2-year master’s course, with successful participants receiving the academic title “Master of Science”. The bachelor’s programme always starts in the winter semester (enrolment is performed at the Registrar’s Office at the Essen Campus). The master’s programme may be commenced in the winter or the summer semester.
