Students should be able to
- Define agility in the context of project management
- Compare foundations of agile and traditional project management
- Decide whether agile or traditional methods would be best suited for a specific project
- Apply methods of agile project management (e.g., user stories, planning poker)
- Manage projects using agile methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Evaluate the suitability of different scaled agile methods for specific organizations
- Praxisrelevanz
The module prepares students to work in or manage agile projects. In an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world, agile project management becomes more important.
- Prüfungsmodalitäten
Zum Modul erfolgt eine modulbezogene zusammengesetzte Prüfung in der Gestalt einer Klausur (in der Regel: 60-90 Minuten, 50% der Note) und einer Hausarbeit (in der Regel: ca. 10 Seiten, 30% der Note) mit Präsentation (in der Regel: 10 bis 15 Minuten, 20% der Note). Die genauen Formalia werden in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben.

This course follows a highly interactive approach. Students are expected to actively participate in the classes. Classroom discussions will enable students to critically reflect on the newly acquired knowledge and discuss open questions with the lecturer.
